McFarlane's DANGER GIRL Figures

There's a couple of tried and true factors that for me, Dash MacBastard, elevate a piece of entertainment: Shlockiness and tits.

J. Scott Campbell's Danger Girl is an ode to not only both those elements, but manages to also factor into the equation a healthy dose of indiana Jones-ing, G.I. Joe-ness, a dash of Double O Seven, and gratuitous amount of cheesecake (which I suppose takes us back to my love of tits, but, fuck it). Add all those up and you've served up a delectable stew of mindless, entertainment goodness that Ol' Dash is sure to gobble up.

Debuting in 1997, Danger Girl was issued under Image Comic's long since defunct Cliffhanger imprint, before the stable was eventually sold off to DC, falling under their own Wildstorm line-up.

The Original run featured artwork (of the stunning variety) by J. Scott Campbell. Eventual story arcs would feature artwork by various other artists, including Art Adams, Tommy Yune, Joe Chiodo, Phil Noto, and Nick Bradshaw.

In 1997, McFarlane released an action figure line, based on Campbell's designs...

Abbey Chase...

Sydney Savage...Natalia Kassel...

Major Maxim... I love this character. He's like a combination of Darth Vader and Kronen from Hellboy.

LOL. I'm a member of Figurecollections.com! Loved the idea of there finally being a social networking site for action figure devotees.
