DC Universe 12 Inch Cyborg Superman

Life can administer some pretty fucking cruel and unusual sentences upon the innocent sometimes. Just ask Hank Henshaw. Poor bastard. The one-time ace rocket scientist was doused with cosmic radiation (Fantastic Four style) while on a shuttle mission. Both he and his wife, Terri, suffer hideous side effects due to their radiation exposure; the Missus corporeal form begins to "phase" into an alternate dimension, while Hank's own body begins to slowly decay. Hank somehow manages to ally his consciousness with the mainframe to Lexcorp's computer systems before his body's eventual total decimation, and then (Christ Almighty, this is convoluted, DC...) is able to manipulate technology. Like all nutjob comic book villains, Henshaw believes that the title's hero (in this case The Man of Steel) is somehow responsible for his horrid fate, and in true comic book fashion, seeks revenge. I won't bore you to tears with the rest. Suffice it to say, he somehow becomes "Cyborg Superman" and turns up in the Reign of the Supermen run from some years back. Here's Mattel's 12 inch, Toys R Us exclusive figure...

The Death of Superman era was very dear to me as well. I loved the spin-off series which spawned thereafter.....

This is one cool figure indeed. Do you have the rest of the gang i.e. superboy, steele etc?

Unfortunately, Rebel, Mattel hasn't produced a 12 inch Steel, or Superboy from the Death of Superman run yet. It'd be nice of they did though!
