Silent Screamers: Nosferatu Graf Orlok...

In 2000, the now kaput Aztech Toys issued a line of horror figures entitled "Silent Screamers" in an attempt to both pay homage to the silent scare films of the yesteryear, and cash in on the then growing interest in 6 inch horror figures ignited by McFarlane's Movie Maniacs line. While the Silent Screamers line offered collectors some beautiful figures, there wasn't all that much demand for toys based on a bunch of silent movies from the 1920s that most of us had never seen or even heard of. The Silent Screamers line (and eventually Aztech) folded, and was eventually relegated to the bargain bins of TRU. The only figure the line contained that I had any real interest in was Graf Orlok, from Nosferatu...

He's downright creepy Dash! What else did Aztech produced in its heyday?

Rebel- Aztech did a few different lines- none were as widely distributed as the Silent Screamers though. They did a couple boxed action figure sets based on Jules Verne's novel 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea that were pretty cool.
The other figures in the Silent Screamers line included:
Dr. Caligari (from The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)
Maria (From Fritz Lange's Metropolis)
Edison's Frankenstien (From the Thomas Edison film)
Doctor Jeckyl and Mister Hyde.
I think there were a couple more, but I can't recall them at the moment...
The figures were offered in both full color, black and white, and sepia tone versions.
